Principals
MSI’s principals are highly-skilled engineers and analysts from the carrier world, with over 70 years of cumulative experience in the networking and telecommunications industry.
The President, Joe Passafiume, has over 35 years of extensive experience assessing customer voice and data networking environments and designing optimized, efficient, cost effective and well-managed communications systems.
Joe has been actively involvement in voice/data networking beginning with the ARPAnet (DoD precursor to the Internet), BB&N and DEC as an architect of network products such as LANs, WANs, routers, switches, and multiplexors.
He has provided technology, process, and product training to many of the major carriers including Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, SBC, Qwest, PacBell, Bell South, and Global Crossing. In addition, he has delivered workshops for Cisco on IP Telephony Implementation Planning thereby paving a way and orchestrating the restructuring of many large voice & data environments. He has extensive experience assessing customer’s networks and designing optimized, efficient, cost effective, well-managed communications systems.
